It is important to avoid humidity when storing your 3D printer filament because excessive humidity can cause many different problems with all types of filament.
We store our filament in a controlled environment with dehumidifiers running 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to ensure that you receive the best product possible. A reputable supplier will make sure that their filament is stored in optimal condition, if you are unsure about how they store their filament it is best to ask directly.
But what can you do once your receive the filament to ensure that your product does not begin to deteriorate once you receive it?
We recommend purchasing a container that has the ability to be air-tight, and using dissidents. Use of these products will prolong your filament's life and save your money.
